Two venues that are simply without equal, THE GRILL + THE POOL are the crown jewels of Manhattan's iconic Seagram Building, the only landmarked dining rooms in The United States, and the most coveted event spaces of Major Food Events. THE GRILL is America’s most essential chophouse—a contemporary celebration of mid-century American dining that breathes new life into Philip Johnson’s legendary interior design. Connected to THE GRILL by a stunning travertine hallway is the place that has been home to New York City’s most storied parties and events for over half a century: THE POOL.

THE GRILL offers a range of options for both seated and reception-style events. The restaurant can accommodate large parties of up to 37 guests seated across two private dining rooms, with the Salon hosting up to 15 guests and the Gallery accommodating up to 22 guests seated.

THE POOL, our premier events space located adjacent to THE GRILL, can host up to 180 guests seated on the main level, with an additional 80 guests when including the Lounge; or up to 350 guests for a reception-style event. THE GRILL and THE POOL may also be booked together for reception-style events for up to 600 guests; or for a cocktail reception in THE GRILL followed by a seated dinner in THE POOL for up to 300 guests.
